The Cancer New Moon is also approaching a square to Chiron, which is freshly in Taurus. Chiron in Taurus represents our wounding around self-worth and security. The square forces us to confront the emotional baggage that keeps us looping in feelings and stories of scarcity and insecurity.

These are the only direct aspects of this new moon, but there are simultaneously a couple of significant things happening in the sky that lend both intensity and support to this Cancer new moon.

First is Jupiter, which is freshly in Leo and is in a building opposition to Pluto in Aquarius. Jupiter expands what it touches.
